In parallel, the EPC contract award is in progress \u2013 that is, the decision on who will take on the planning, procurement, and construction as a total package.<\/p>\n<h3>Why the storage is planned from the beginning<\/h3>\n<p>A storage system that is only planned after the park is built costs a second grid connection procedure. Therefore, the 10,870 kWh and 5.2 MW battery storage system in Vennebeck is part of the planning from the very beginning. The design corresponds to approximately two hours of full load.<\/p>\n<h3>The location<\/h3>\n<p>The park is being built in the neighborhood <strong>Vennebeck<\/strong> in Porta Westfalica, in the network area of <strong>Westfalen Weser<\/strong>. For Ostwestfalen-Lippe, it is one of the larger open space projects \u2013 and is located about 20 kilometers from our headquarters in B\u00fcnde.<\/p><h3>Each facility is publicly registered<\/h3><p>Planning a solar park with a storage system also means reporting obligations: Every generation facility is subject to reporting. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marktstammdatenregister.de\/MaStR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Market data register of the Federal Network Agency<\/a>.
