Modules age, plug connections can come loose, individual strings fall out \u2013 and without targeted testing, this often only becomes apparent when the annual financial statements are presented.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, it belongs to a <strong>Solar park in operation<\/strong> a recurring technical inspection. In Falkenberg the last one was carried out in <strong>September 2025<\/strong> a thermography inspection was carried out.<\/p>\n<h3>Why Thermography<\/h3>\n<p>Thermal imaging shows what the eye cannot see. Defective cells, damaged bypass diodes, and loose connections heat up more strongly than their surroundings and become visible in the thermal image as hot spots \u2013 long before they become apparent as a loss of yield.<\/p>\n<p>For a system with 7,200 kWp, this is the only practical way to assess the condition of all the modules. Visual inspection of the modules one by one would not be feasible at this scale.<\/p>\n<h3>The location<\/h3>\n<p>Falkenberg\/Elster is located in the south of Brandenburg, a region with good irradiation values and a long tradition in energy generation. For open-air installations, the availability of land and the grid situation are more favorable here than in many western German regions.<\/p><h3>Each facility is publicly registered<\/h3><p>Operation of a solar park also means reporting obligations: Every generation facility is subject to reporting obligations. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marktstammdatenregister.de\/MaStR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Market data register of the Federal Network Agency<\/a>.
