FAQ regarding the photovoltaic project enquiry

Questions & answers for the launch of your large-scale PV project

As an EPC main contractor, we focus on large-scale photovoltaic projects.

  • For commercial rooftop systems is a roof area from approx. 5.000 m² (equivalent to approx. 500 kWp capacity) ideal.

  • At ground-mounted solar parks do we consider locations starting from a size of around 5 hectares. For these dimensions, we can deploy our expertise in grid connection, medium voltage and plant engineering most economically for your project. For significantly smaller projects, we are happy to make a referral if required.

For an initial assessment, the location (address/plot number) and the estimated available area are sufficient. To ensure the technical Project assessment to speed things up considerably, you can upload the following documents directly via the enquiry form (where available):

  • Site plan or roof plan

  • Electricity load profile of your company (important for self-consumption and BESS storage system design)

  • Single-line diagram of the existing electrical installation

  • Information on roof structural engineering or roof covering

Following receipt of your data via our form, our engineering team will immediately begin the initial technical review. As a rule, we will get back to you personally within 24 to 48 hours. The next step is a joint coordination meeting to evaluate the concrete feasibility (structural engineering, grid connection point) and outline an initial EPC project concept for your photovoltaic system.

Yes, the detailed grid connection assessment is a key component of our feasibility analysis. As a group of companies, we manufacture our own 100 % TAB-compliant transformer stations and medium-voltage installations at our plant in Bünde, which enables us to plan connection capacities, cable routes and coordination with the local distribution system operator (DSO) from the very start in a precise, solution-oriented manner and without any losses due to external interfaces.

Yes. Alongside the turnkey implementation of PV systems for commercial self-consumption or for project investors, we also examine attractive roof-lease or land-lease models. If you have very large roof areas (from 5,000 m²) or suitable open spaces, but do not wish to invest yourself, we are happy to analyse the possibility of a long-term lease including fixed lease payments.

No. The initial assessment, the preliminary consultation and the rough potential analysis of your large-scale PV project are completely free of charge and without obligation for you. Only once technical and economic feasibility has been confirmed and we jointly enter the detailed EPC project planning phase will the exact service packages be transparently laid down in a contract.
